A herd of elk grazes beneath the watchful peaks of the grand Sierra Nevada. A couple of males were doing some bugling - it's such a wild and lonesome sound. Makes me think of Wyoming.

Heading south from Mammoth Lakes, we stopped at Erick Schat's Bakkery and I saw this Amazing juicing contraption! Steve and I each got a pastry for "later" and split a sandwich for "now."
